This Life Is Worth Living Right Now-Regardless of What You’re Waiting On
Ya’ll already know I love a good God-given goal and a beautiful dream. However, that dream should never take precedence over the pursuit of God’s presence. As someone who is still waiting on the Lord to answer a few of my own prayers, I feel so grateful for the friends who show up to celebrate what’s happening in this season.
Let’s all ask God to help us find the words to encourage our friends and family as we speak life over them and invite them to see what He is yet doing right now.
Today, we’re reflecting on Philippians 3:8-11 ESV
Indeed, I count everything as loss because of the surpassing worth of knowing Christ Jesus my Lord. For his sake I have suffered the loss of all things and count them as rubbish, in order that I may gain Christ and be found in him, not having a righteousness of my own that comes from the law, but that which comes through faith in Christ, the righteousness from God that depends on faith—that I may know him and the power of his resurrection, and jmay share his sufferings, becoming like him in his death, that by any means possible I may kattain the resurrection from the dead.

Meet Brenna
A God-designed life doesn’t start when you say “I do” or when you get engaged or even when you meet “the one.” It’s been happening as long as you’ve been alive-even if you’re still single and wish you weren’t.
Hannah Schermerhorn knows what it’s like. She was months away from getting married when her wedding was called off. She feared being single again, but in the following years, God taught her many hard lessons that transformed her bitterness into authentic joy.
Hannah is an electrical engineer who has worked in legal, business, and global marketing. Hannah enjoys traveling, reading, and spending time with her nieces and nephews. Learn more at www.hannahschermerhorn.com.
I asked Hannah:
- Why did you feel called to write this book?
- Can you tell us how the Lord renewed your identity in Him as you learned how to trust Him?
- How did you come up with the questions to ask as you led the reader to go deeper into each topic you have brought us to study?
- What did the Lord help you learn through Jeremiah’s life?
- How have you found greater purpose through the dreams the Lord has given you?
