Now, you know, any book that tells us it’s about to help us save our peace, our jobs, our edges, and our lives, is one we need to talk about! Today, the author of this fabulous journal, Lakeshia Poole, is joining us to help us stop obsessing over social media and get active. The truth is social media is a powerful tool to help us share the Gospel and it could quite possibly be the only access point we have into someone’s life these days.
This week, we are turning to James 1:19 for our Biblical inspiration on productivity. It says, “My dear brothers and sisters, take note of this: Everyone should be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry.” Now, given the past two years we’ve had, you can imagine how important it is to implement this strategy into our social media plan. However, this is just a good strategy period-especially when we’re approaching the Lord about what He may want us to say.
