An Interview with Christina Patterson

When is it time to take risks and when is it time to keep planning? A conversation on productivity tips from the Bible wouldn’t be worthwhile if we didn’t consider the importance of recognizing the season that you’re in. My sister, Christina Patterson, is here to talk about all of that and I’m so ridiculously excited!

Luke 14:28-30 instructs us about how move forward with new projects. Have you read it lately? It says:

“But don’t begin until you count the cost. For who would begin construction of a building without first calculating the cost to see if there is enough money to finish it? Otherwise, you might complete only the foundation before running out of money, and then everyone would laugh at you. They would say, ‘There’s the person who started that building and couldn’t afford to finish it!’

What I love about this conversation is that Christina reminded us to not just count how much it will inconvenience you. She also shared it’s also important to focus on the blessings as well! After all, that’s how we continue to enjoy motivation and momentum.

This Conversation was Real!

Grab your journal because Christina’s dropping gems about:

  • divine disruptions;
  • disciplining yourself in the middle of distraction;
  • outgrowing old opportunities;
  • what God taught her during the last Beloved Women Conference;
  • and firing yourself.

She knows the strain of trying to run a full life on empty an empty soul. This is why she believe putting God first isn’t just a cute cliché but the necessary lifeline we need to maintain the full lives we have today.

Maybe you’ve seen her on her YouTube channel which hosts over 33,000 subscribers, read her devotionals on Proverbs 31 ministries, heard her on the Teach Us to Pray podcast, or studied her teaching in the YouVersion Bible app. She is the creator of The Beloved Women app, and we are grateful she’s with us!
